Terms of Service
Last updated: June 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AIRA, the DPDPA readiness assessment platform operated by Bug Hunters Private Limited (“Bug Hunters”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using AIRA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Acceptance of terms
By using AIRA, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you are using AIRA on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
Definitions
- “Platform” means the AIRA website, assessment, and report generation features.
- “Assessment” means the structured DPDPA readiness questionnaire and its deterministic scoring.
- “Report” means the readiness output generated from your responses, including the PDF.
- “Content” means the framework, questions, scoring logic, report formats, and other materials we provide.
Eligibility
AIRA is intended for use by organizations and their authorized representatives. It is not directed at children, and you must be capable of forming a binding contract to use it.
The service
AIRA provides a self-service DPDPA readiness assessment that generates a score, a report, and recommendations from the information you provide. AIRA is a software assessment tool; it is not a law firm, an auditor, or a certification body.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information during the assessment.
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Keep any access to your reports and account details secure.
- Not misuse the platform, attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or scrape it.
Not legal advice
The Assessment, Report, scores, and recommendations are informational and intended to help you understand and prioritize your DPDPA readiness. They do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional advice, and they are not a certification of compliance. For binding compliance decisions, you should consult a qualified data-protection professional or legal counsel.
Assessment results and limitations
Scores and classifications are generated deterministically from the answers you provide and reflect a point-in-time view. Their accuracy depends on the accuracy and completeness of your inputs. AIRA does not guarantee any particular regulatory outcome and is not responsible for decisions you make based on the Report.
Intellectual property
The Platform and all Content are owned by Bug Hunters and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform and to use the Report generated for your organization for your internal compliance purposes. The personal data and responses you submit remain yours.
Third-party services
The Platform relies on third-party providers (for example, AI, email, and hosting providers). Their availability and performance are outside our control, and your use may be subject to their terms in addition to ours.
Fees
Where the Assessment is offered free of charge, we may change, limit, or discontinue free access at any time. Any paid services will be described separately, with their own pricing and terms.
Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bug Hunters and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform- even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bug Hunters from claims arising out of your misuse of the Platform or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or to protect the Platform or its users. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the registered office of Bug Hunters Private Limited will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date will reflect changes, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@bughunters.io.
